The s.s. Maori returned from Wairoa yesterday afternoon, bringing a load of maize, which she is transhipping to the Orcti to-day. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, sailed for Wairoa shortly after 12 o'clock last night, taking a number of passengers and a good cargo. She arrived at her destination this morning. Tho steamer Orcti, Captain Campbell, arrived here at an early hour this morning from Auckland and Gisborne, having loft the latter place at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was berthed at the cattle wharf at about 7.40 o'clock this morning, where she discharged her cargo, some 25 tons. She is transhipping maize from tho Maori this afternoon and will take in a quantity of cattle to-morrow morning, leaving later on. The launch Boojum, which left Wairoa at 9 o'clock this morning, was coming up the bay when our report left the Spit. The s.s. Manapom-i left Auckland at 12.30 p.m yesterday for this port, via Gisborne, with 35 tons of cargo. She will arrive here by daylight to-morrow morning, ancl is announced to sail southwards at 11.30 a.m. The s.s. Kiwi is due here from Wellington via the coast to-morrow, and is announced to sail again for Wellington at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Omapere was to have left Wellington at 11 o'clock this morning, with 100 tons of cargo for this port, which will be discharged at the breastwork on arrival. She is to steam for Gisborne and Auckland as 2 o'clock tomorrow. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau is to leave Wellington this afternoon, and is due here to-morrow morning. (by CABLE.) London, October 31. The P. and O. Company's steamship Clyde arrived at Plymouth to-day from Melboxirne (left 12th September). Suez, October 31. The Orient steamship Cuzco, from Melbourne (left October 27), arrived to-day en route for Plymouth. _ Her refrigerating machinery is working satisfactorily. Sydney, November 2. Sailed, this afternoon, R.M.S. City of Sydney for San Francisco via Auckland. fBY TELEGRAPH.] Dunedin, November 3. Arrived, Jessie Redman, Captain Gibson, from Glasgow, 90 days out, with 34 passengers, all well.
