(Before Captain Preece, 8.M.) DRUNKENNESS.
Daniel Connor, charged with drunkenness, pleaded guilty, and was fined 59 and costs, or in default 48 hours' imprisonment with haid labor. CITIL CASES. Sim t. Hensen.—Claim £1 ss. Judgment for amount claimed, by default, with costs 10s. Hiegins v. Fuszard. —Claim £23 2s for goods sold and delivered, and for goods bargained and sold. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount claimed, with costs £1 ss, counsel's fee £2 2s, and expenses of plaintiff 10s. Sims v. Meadows.—Claim £2 Is for goods sold and deivered. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount, with costs 7s.
A number of other civil cases were either withdrawn or settled out of Court.
