Mr Kemsley invites tenders for building a strong room at the Foresters' Hall, Dickens street. Mr J. A. Cunningham, Eakamoana, Poliui, invites alternative tenders for carting wool from the foot of the Kaiwaka cutting on the Taupo road, or for Marshall's, to the Spit. The New Zealand Clothing Factory is making monster reductions in boy's tweed, cloth, and velveteen knicker suits. The Clydesdale stallion Duke will stand this eeason at Clive. The Municipal Engineer invites tenders for the cartage of water pipes. Mr W. L. Jackson, Thompson road, has a limited number of cabbage plants for sale. A bay gelding has been impounded at Napier, which, if not redeemed, will be sold on November 4. Messrs Shaw Savill's barque Langstone is now loading wool and other colonial produce for London, and will have quick despatch. Messrs Kinross and Co. are the local agents. Woods' iron and quinine wine as a remedy in cases of nervous debility, loss of appetite, &c, stands unequalled. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
