Cato, Lambert, and another. « The s.s. Fairy steamed for Te Apiti last evening with stores. The p.s. Manaia has finished her cleaning and painting, and is to leave for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-night, taking passengers and cargo. The steamer Kiwi was to have left Wellington at 5 o'clock last night for Napier -yia coastal stations, and should arrive by to-morrow or Friday morning. If to-mor-row she will leave again for the same places at 3 o'clock the same afternoon. _ The s.s. Oreti may be looked for on Friday morning from Northern ports. The topsail schooner Edith Reid, Captain P. Brown, arrived here last evening from Riverton, and was brought inside this morning. She brings 942" sacks of oats and 4 cases of bacon consigned to the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, and 20 sacks of flour and 20 sacks of oatmeal to order. The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain Charles Balle, was towed outside shortly before G o'clock last evening by the launch Boojum, and sailed for Newcastle, N.S.W. _, The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Capt. Maloney, steamed for Wairoa at a few minutes past 12 o'clock last night, taking several passengers. The s.s. Sir Donald discharged a load of cargo nt the breastwork yesterday afternoon transhipped out of the Langstone, and tho Three Brothers discharged another load from the same vessel this morning.
