The total number of entries are 329 for the Rifle Association's meeting. Fourteen members of the North Dunedin Rifles and eight from Waikari have entered.
Messrs Briscoe and Co. have received cable advices of a sharp advance in the English iron market, quotations having advanced 10s to I2i 6d per ton all round.
