Views of the Franco-Prussian, RussoTurkish, and Zulu wars, the siege of Paris, and of all the principal cities of the world, ■will be on exhibition in Mr Bryson's shop, next door to the Caledonian Hotel tomorrow. Every visitor will receive a present. The first meeting of creditors in the estate of O. H. Mitchell, of West Clive, wool scourer, an arranging debtor, takes place at the Court House, Napier, to-morrow at 2 p.m. Monday next being the twenty-first anniversary of the opening of the Bank of New Zealand, that day will be observed as a special bank holiday at the various offices of the bank in New Zealand. Mr R. H. Robinson, of the Cheap Drapery Shop, has "just received a small assortment of ladies aesthetic pinafores, the newest ever shown. Prize-takers at the horticultural show are requested to call at the office of Mr E. F. Menzies, hon. sec, before noon on Saturday next, to receive the amounts to which they are entitled. Mr T. R. Cooper invites tenders for the work of putting in concrete foundations in Hastinge-street. At the Horse Bazaar on Saturday next Messrs Monteith and Co. will sell 22 horses, comprising trap horses and hacks, besides several well-bred geldings, mares, &c. Messrs Blytlie and Co. quote reduced prices for two-button black kid gloves and odds and ends. Mr John Heslop's pure Clydesdale stallion Robin Adair will stand this season at Puketapu. Robin Adair's pedigree and terms will be found in the advertisement, Mr Denholm has been appointed agent at the Spit for Mr Woods, pharmaceutical chemist.
