SYDNEY.
October 6. The enquiry into the cause of the fire by which the Garden Palace was destroyed was concluded to-day. The verdict of the jury was to the effect that there was no evidence to show how the fire originated, but a rider was added .ensuring the Government for the want of care exhibited by the manner in which the valuable property, documents, etc., destroyed by the fire, were stored in the building.
