ARRIVALS

September. 7— Kiwi, s.s., from Wellington via costal stations. Passengers —Misses Carswell and Kate Carswell, Mr Craig.

The steamer Kiwi, Captain Jas. Campbell, arrived in our roadstead at 7.30 o'clock this morning, and was brought inside and berthed at the brenstwork at about 10 a.m. She reports having left Wellington at 8 o'clock on Monday night; arrived at Flat Point at dayliglit next morning ; landed a quantity of fencing posts, and left at noon ; arrived at Uriti at 1 p.m. ; landed about 30 tons of cargo, and left at 7.30 a.m. next day ; arrived at Castle Point at 10 a.m.; landed 40 tons, and left at 2.30 p.m., arriving here as above. Her cargo for this port consists of about 120 tons, including transhipments out of the John Gambles, Annie Burr, and Port Glasgow. Her time of departure has been altered to 2 o'clock to-morrow, at which time the is advertised to" steam for Wellington direct. * The Union Company's&s.s. Rotomahana is expected to leave Auckland this afternoon, and will arrive hero at daylight on Saturday, sailing southwards at 11.30 a.m. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, is telegraphed as having left Wairoa at 10.20 a.m. this day, and will probably arrive here at nbout 3 o'clock this afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Manapouri is expected to arrive here on Saturday morning from Melbourne and Southern ports, aud will sail for Northern ports at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The s.s. Mahinapua is due here on Monday from Northern ports, and is announced to sail southwards at noon.

(by telegbat-h.) Dunedin, 'September 7. Arrived, Union Company's new steamer Omapere from Hobart; ship Auckland, Capt. McDougall, from London. She had an uneventful passage of 84 days, and brings sixteen passengers, who enjoyed good health.
