[To the Editor oi the Daily Telegbaph.] Urn, —A.correspondent ia this evening's issue of your paper draws attection to the fact that the one-mile handicap to be run at the Waipawa sports on Monday next is advertised for 5 p.m., and as the train leaves at 5.10 Napier competitors are debarred from competing. The programme was drawn up in the expectation that a train would leave at 6 p.m., but as soon as it was found that 5.10 would be the latest hour the committee at once altered the time of the race from 5 p.m. to 4.45, putting the boy's ob-tacle race ia its place. The alteration has no doubt been made in the advertisement ere this, and it you will kindly call attention to the change you will oblige
