September 12. The Canterbury Free Thought Association have resolved to invite Mr R. Stout, of Dunedin, to deliver an inaugural address.
Mr Carey, of the Pirates of Penzance Company, opened a second season at the Theatre Koyal on Saturday to a crowded house.
