During the ensuing fortnight there will, in addition to tho (juartz raised from the No. 2 reef, bo a quantity of stuff from the main reef at the bottom level, which will not only increase tho average, but establish the fact of tho payable clasi of tho f|imrtz which is to be denved in the deep levels of this mine. Moanataiari.— The gold lodged by this company on Saturday,' as the result of seven day's crushing, was melted to-day at tho Bank of New Zealand, and reduced to a bar weighing IGOoz. 8dwt.
