The 3 a Southern Cross, from Tauranga, arrived in harbour last evening, bringing 1G passengers 3 hones. 1 bull, 1 wagon, .'JO bags bones, and sundries. The brigantine Rachael Cohen loft Napier on the 7th instant for Wh.in.Mroa. The schooner Saucy Lass will leave for Napier, ykI Kennedy or Mercury Bay, in a few days, with a cargo of timber. The brigantine Magellan Cloud, from Russell, arrived last evening, bunging LSI tons coal. The schooner Fffio Meikle will love for Mercury Bay to-day. The barque Gloncoe took her departure for Newcastle, in ballast, ou Saturday last. The schooner Fairy, for East CVust ports, took her departure ou Satuiday last. The p s. Lady Bowen took her departure on Saturday morning last for Mahur.inai and the Hot Springs. She will return again to-day. The cutter Mercury, from Mercury Bay, brings a cargo of 24,000ft timber. Iho schooner Columbia, for jNapier via Kennody Bay, will leave to-day. She takes a 'cargo of 30,000 shingles and 40,000tt. timber. The p.a. Comerang la announced to leave for Napier to-morrow. Messrs Nio<ol and Sons, North Shore, aro the successful tenderers for the building of tb.e new missionary schooner to replace the Southern Cross. The barque Zanpa will be hauled alongside the Queen-street Wha'f to-day, to discharge her cargo from Liverpool. The tender of Mr. Stohr for providoring tho A.S P. Co.'s steamers Golden Crown and Hoyal Alfred has been accepted. All claims against tho ship PoUrStar must bo rendered at the ageut's office by noon to-day. The schooner Clydo leaves for Whaugarei and Mnngapai this evening. The p.s Paterson and a s Wellington, both for Southern ports, are announced to leave the Manukau to-day. The Fijian Government cutter Vivid proceeded on a short cruise on Saturday afternoon last. She is expected to return again to harbour to-day. Several of our leading citizens at the invitation of Dr. Clarkson were passengers by the cutter. It was stated on June 7th in Sydney, before the Claud Hamilton left Melbourne, that the Wonga had been sighted off Kiama under tails. It is supposed she was disabled. The steamer Saxonia was sent to her assistance. Thes.t. Rowena,from Russell and Northern ports, arrived in harbour on Saturday morning last, bringing a number of passengers and the following cargo : — b" horses, 50 bags gum, 50,000 shingles, and sundries.
