THE JAPANESE.
As aught have been expected the Prince of "Wales Thsatre was crowded la«t night by persons desirous of witnessing the wonder ful performances of the Japanese troupe. " All Right " was as usual warmly applauded in his tub trick, and the female acrobat, Yoshi Matz, was very clever on the slack rope. One of the performers, he who balanced the barrel in the air with his feet, became a great favourite with the audience ; and the edtfijated monkeys came in for a very large share of applause. Mr. Joe Small sang "Tipperary Paddy," a parody on " Champagne Charley," and in response to the encore gave "The Irish Jaunting Car" in first-rate style. Mr. Margetts rendered the songs, "Dolly Varden," "That's Where You Make the Mistake," and several others in a masterly manner. Some acrobatic feats by "All Eight" concluded a very successful entertainment. — A day performance will be given on Saturday next, commencing at half-past 2 o'clock.
