» The following appeared in last night's Star : — Messrs. Brogden'a navvies are still on strike at Wellington. They say they are intimidated by local men. They have no objection to 6s. a day wages if the eight hours' system were introduced. — The * Asterope'has cleared at Lyttelton for London, with 3,000 bales wool and 85 bales flax.
