Golden Calf.- -The reef in the shaft is not yet cut through. The stuff continues to show gold, and ia estimated to be payable. .
Inverness. — The lode in the bottom level was opened upon to day towards the Don Pedro. ' Was in three branches, but made ono solid vein 3ffc. thick directly, with gold showing from top to bottom. Good Btone also towards A ll Nations.
Waitemata — Several pounds of good specimens were taken out this morning. 3 30 p.m. The 200-yard handicap fl >t race has just been run ab Tararu and won by Maning. 8.50 p.m. . A nice patch of specimens was taken from the beach tunnel in the Inverness mine thia afternoon. Sixty pounds of specimftns have been taken from the wiuze in the Moanataiari lowlevel. !
