Mails wfll close as under:— For Thames, thii dap, at 1.30, 4.30, and 5.39 p.ir. For Taranaki and the Southern provinces, per s s. Wellington, to-day, the 2nd instant, at 8 am. For Mangonui, per Ivanhoe, to-day, at 3 p.m. For VVhanganui, per St. Kilda, to-morrow at 9 a.m. Late totters and telegrams for transmission from the Wiungnnui station will be received her* till 9.30 a.m.. and at Onehunga till 10.30 a m. For Kapanga, Driving Creek, and Tiki, per p.l Lalla Rookh, on Thursday, at 10 30 a.m. For Russell and Kawakawa, per Duke of Edinburgh, on Thursday, at 3 p.m., and per Comerang on Fi iday. at 3 p.m. For Tauranza Napier, and Southern provinces, per s.s. Lord Ashley, on Saturday, at 6 p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per p.s. Nebra-ka, will close at this office on Thursday, 10th August, as under:— For sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United Stater of America, British, Central, and South America, British and Foreign West Indies, and Continent of Europe via England, at 10.30 a m For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 10 30. For money orders aud registered lettprs, ait 9.30 a.m For newspapers, at 9 a.m. bate lettei s for the United States of America and United Kingdom, bearing a late fee of Bd. in addition to the postage, will be received at this this office till 11 a m , and by the mail agent on board the steamer up to time of sailing.
