Mr. G-. W. JBinney sold at the Exchange Sale Rooms, Queen-street, to-day — White crystal sugar, 48J. 15s per ton; Adelaide marmalade, 7s 3d per dozen ; Hobart Town jams, 6d per lb. ; vinegar, 6s 3d per dozen ; Barcelona nuts, 7d per lb.; butter, 7d ; Canterbury cheese, 6£d to 7£d ; bacon, s£d per lb. The annual sale of provincial tolls, &c, took place thi3 day, by order of T. B Gillies, Esq., Superintendent, by Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son, at their rooms, Port-street, when the following prices ■were realised : — Lot 1 : Fees leviable at the iron store adjoining the Harbour Office, Queen-street Wharf, 11Z. 10s per month; purchaser, Mr. J. ftforton. Lot 2 : Fees chargeable for supply of water from the pipes laid down on Queen street Wharf, and from a two-inch pipe at Wynyard Pier, 411. per month ; purchaser, Captain SUiott. Lot 3: The tolls leviable at the Queen-street Wharf and Custom - house - street, and at Gore-street Jetty, Breakwater Road, and "Breakwater, together with the fees chargeable at the wharf weighbridge, 210J, per month ; purchaser, Mr. Charles' Berridge. Lot 4 : The fees leviable at the slaughter-house, Newmarket, 65/. per month; purchaser, Mr. G. Clayton. Lot 5 : The tolls leviable at the Panmure Bridge, 171. per month ; purchaser, Mr. C. J. Storey. Lot 6 : The tolls leviable at the Newmarket turnpike gate, and at the Reinueraand. G-albraith. Lot 10 : The tolls leviable at the New North JRoad toll-gafe (adjoining the Eden Vine Hotel), 10/. per month; purchaser, vir. W. Galbraith. The whole will thus yield an annual lental of 7,404?, Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son sold on i Saturday last the following goods, just landed, ex 'Titnaru,' viz. :— Salt, 21. 12s 6d ! to 3/. Is per ton; whiting, 41. 17s 6d Co 4/. 18s per Ion ; red gin, in bond, 8a 6d ; green gin, in bond, 4a 6d; tartaric acid, Is 8d per lb. Mi'Lßorrains. — The Argus of the sth inst. reports :— "ln the import markets business lias no f , been characterised by any appearance of activity, and little in the way of sales has come under our notice throughout the forenoon. In breadstuff's inquiries are confined to the supply of immediate wants, and transactions are, in consequence, of a very limited nature. Holders of flour ask 12/. Jsa to 131. per ton, or 12s 9d to 13s per cental for good brands, and refuse to accept of less money. Wheat at 5s 6d to 5s 9d per bushel, or 9s 2d to 9s 7d per cental. No sales have, however, been recorded to-day; oats, 3a 4cl to 3s 5d per bushel, or 8s 4d to 8s G^d per cental ; maize, 4s Id to 4s 2d per bushel, or 7a3idto7s 5,Ul per cental. Candles : ,500 boxes in a line have been placed at 1 0.^d for best brands. In sugars we hear of trade parcels being quitted of greyish- white crystals at J3/."
