IN RE GEORGE DUNNET.

To the Editor of the Daily Southmuc Obobs. Sib,' — In your issue of this day, in the report of the case "In re George Dunne t," in bankruptcy, I find that Mr. Arthur in his evidence states that " there is an item of £46, due by Connor and Harney, in the books of the late firm of Hunter and Co." I beg to state, in reply, that the late firm of Connor and Harney is not indebted to them one single penny, nor has any demand ever been made. M. S. Haeney, Auokland, August 29, 1867.
