Some little misunderstanding having occurred relative to the weights for this handicap not having been commenced at 103t. 71b., we have been requested by the secretary to state, on behalf of the Race Committee, that it was not their intention to necessitate the top weight being fixed at that standard, but simply to assure nominators that the greatest impost imposed upon any horse would not exceed that weight.
