MISCELLANEOUS.
The mail steamer Auckland, or another of {he Company's vessels, is doe here to-morrow, with the February mail, and the s.s. Taranaki from the South on Thursday next. The barque Mistletoe for Sydney, and the barque Anns Melhuish for Newcastle, N.S.W., sail to-day. The wind yesterday continued from the north-east —strong— and the various vessels awaiting a change were still unable to take their departure. The s.s. Midge came alongside ,the end of the wharf yesterday, in order to • discharge her inward cargo, > after which she will be benched for oVerhanl and outfit of her maoHintry. The schooner JSe* Breeze and General Cameron were unable to sail yesterday, in consequence of the strong 5 head winds. The Star of the South, from Napier, will be taken over to the North' Shore patent slip to-day, after discharge of 62 bales of wool and other cargo, at the Queen-street Wharf ; and leave for Napier on Saturday. , ,
