ARRIVAL OP THE BEIG SUSAN. The brig Susan, Captain Poulsen, left Newcastle on the 3rd instant, and experienced light and head winds until the 10th. In latitude 34*20 S., longitude 131* E., she encountered a terrific gale from the S.E., -which lasted 48 hours. On the 14th experienced another gale from the N.8., of lcds violence than the former-; and since had light and contrary breezes. Passed the Three Kings on Friday last, with head -wind, which continued until the morning of yesterday, when she pasted the Poor Knights at 8 a.m. A thick tain-storm lasted during the day, and no land was seen until Tiritiri light. The brig anchored in the harbour at 11 o'clock last evening. On Saturday passed a ship off the North ' Cape', supposed to be a whaler. The Circular Saw liner Heversham was expected at Newcastle to load for i California, vil this por£ when she left. The Susan brings a cargo of coW.— Henderson and Macfarlane, agent*. >•
