Subscriptions for the Proposed College at Oxford, in Memory of the Author of "The Christian Year."

1£ is proposed to give public and permanent expression to the love and reverence entertained for the Author of "The Christian Year," by building and endowing a College or Hall, at Oxford, worthy to take its place among the stately, foundations of ancient days, and to call it by his name. Here young men, whom want of means would otherwise deprive of a University education, may, at a very small cost, be trained as Christian gentlemen, many of , them, it is hoped, as Pastors of the Church he so much loved. The Committee earnestly invite all in the Colonies who have been taught, comforted, and strengthened by this sweet Singer of the Church, to join, in this tribute to bis memory. Names of Committee. Subscriptions may be spread over five years with* out becoming a claim on the estate in case of death, and should be paid to the credit of the Hon.
