ORDER PAPER— TUESDAY, JANUARY 30. Mr. Shebhan to ask the Provincial Secretary, " Whether it is the intention of the Government to send out prospecting parties in order to assist in developing the mineral resources of the province."
NOTICES OF MOTION. Mr. Carleton to move, on the next sitting day, "That a Standing Orders Committee be appointed. Committee to consist of the Speaker, Messrs. Cheesemau, May, Newman, O'Neill, Webster, and the mover." Captain Coopek to move, " That a select com irittee be formed to take documentary and vivfl, voce evidence regarding the public works (roads, wharves. &c.) most urgently required in the several districts of the Northern Division. The committee to forma rep"rt thereon for the consideration and guidance of the Council. Committee to consist of Messrs. Cadman, Coolahan, Creighton, Dignan, Henderson, McLeod, Sheehan, and the mover."
