TENDERS. Native Secretary's Office, Auckland, June 15, 1860. ITENDERS will be received at this offioe until noon of THURSDAY next, 21st Juno, for furnishing the General Government with tho undermentioned supplies, in such quantities as may ' be required during a period not exceeding two months, commencing on the 23rd instant, upon the conditions hereinafter speoifled. Payment for the above supplies will bo made once a fortnight. > Separate tenders will be received for any of the articles which are bracketed together or stand separate in the above list. If tho Native Secretary or the Officer acting in his stead bo of opinion that the article supplied is not of a proper quality, it must be immediately replaced by the contractor, failing which, it will be procured by the department requiting it, and the expenses charged to the contractor. The tenders to contain the names and places of residence at length, of the persons tendering, and to be signed by two respectable sureties, engaging" to become bound in a penalty of £200 for the fulfilment of the contiact if the tender be accepted. I.— EVERY MAN whose name is on the Militia List, excepting the- Volunteers, and those who are Medically exempted, must attend at the Albert Barracks on the days already named in the printed Notices that have been posted in the Districts, under penalty of a Fine not exceeding £20, which will certainly be inflicted. - ■ The days fixed for assembling are^No. JL Company, Monday, 25th ' June, No. 2 Company, Tuesday, 26th " No. 3 Company, Wednesday, 27th " No. 4 Company, Thursdnyr 28th'- " * '* No 6 Company, Friday, 29th , " At 10 o'clock, a.m. Those persons who have already received permanent Medical Certificates of exemption,' from Dr. Philson, need not appear at all, but those who may be temporarily incapacitated by sickness from attending the first parades of their Companies, should send a certificate to that effect to the 1 Orderly Room of the Battalion, before 10 o'clock, a.m., of the day fixed for the parade. No. 2.— Tho Medical Officer of the Battalion will be at the Orderly Room, at 10 o'clock, on each of the Parade days, to -examine any Militiaman who may claim permanent Medical Exemption. By order F.
