The Council met pursuant to adjournment. Present. — The Speaker and 8 members.
ncphj to Adchesi. The Speak eh informed the Council that he had communicated with his Honour the Superintendent, and that his Honour had appointed half-past 3 of that day to receive the address voted by the Council.
Receipts and Disbursements. The Provincial Secretary gave notice that on Ftiday, the Bth instant (this day), he would move that tl,c receipts and disbursements of the revenue of the Provincial Government, laid by the Superintendent before the Council, in accordance with the 2nd clause of the Audit Act. be referred to a select Committee, to consist of Messrs. Williamson, Buckland, Schultz, Greenwood and the mover.
Land 'Regulations. Mr. May gave notice that, on Tuesday, the 12th February, he would move that the Land Regulations, published by his Honour the Superintendent, on the 10th January, be taken into consideration.
Master and Servants' BUI. Mr. Buodie gave notice that, on Friday, the 15th in<*t., he would move for leave to biing in a Bill, intituled " The Auckland Master and Servants' Bill."
Medical Practitioners' Bill. Mr. Brodie gave notice that, on Friday, the 15th inst., he would move for leave to bring in a Bill, intituled " The Medical Practitioners' Bill." The Council then adjourned till Friday (this day) there beina: no business for yesterday.
