Proposed Rebuilding Plan For City Area (British Ofllcial Wireless.) (Received July 30, 7 p.m.) RUGBY. July 29. The City of London .should be rebuilt after the war according to a plan combining modern progress with historical traditions. This proposal is.contained tn a report presented by the improvements and town-planning committee. 'The main feature of the plan is that of a city dominated by St. Paul’s encircled by an btl-feet wide ring road and containing wide streets and views of historical buildings.
