New U.S. Tax Bill Passed By Congress
(Received February 8, 11.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 8. Congress passed and sent to White House a 2,315,000,000 dollars tax Bill, more than 8,000,000,000 short of the Administration’s request of 10,500,000,000 additional revenue. , The "New York Times’ says President Roosevelt may veto the Bill, but some officials think he will let the measure become law without his signature.
