OBITUARY
Mr. J. W. Cudby
For 20 years overseer mid for -10 years an employee of the Hutt County Council. there was probably no man better known in Hie district than Mr. John Walter Cudby. who died at his home. Main Road. Upper Hutt, on .Saturday last. Mr. Cudby, who was the son of the lute Mr. Charles Cudby, a well-known settler in the district, was born at Lower Hutt in 1860, and lived the whole of his life within a mile or two of the Hutt RiverHe was a faithful servant to the County Council, which cmne to rely on his judgment in matters concerning maintenance works. Mr. Cudby leaves two sons. Mr. Chm-h-s Cudby. Palmerston North, mid Mr. David ('ndby. Pmnpm-mimu. and four dmighters, Mesdmnes Gregan (Gei-aldine), C. Webb (Lower Hutt), Comesky (Upper Hutt), mid S. Morrison (Upper Hutt). The interment took place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Upper Hutt, on Monday,
