HISTORIC SCOTTISH CASTLE
Seriously Damaged By Fire (Received December 2, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON. December 1. The 800-year-oid Loudoun Castle in Ayrshire, where the treaty of_union with England was signed in 1707, was almost completely -destroyed by fire which broke out in the early hours of the morning and raged for 10 hours.
