FIXING PRICE CEILINGS
American Motor Industry WASHINGTON, December J. The Office of Price Administration and Civilian Supply notified automobile dealers today that it was proposed to fix price ceilings for both wholesale and retail passenger ears because inflation of prices had already begun in the automobile industry. Defence officials said armament needs may require the automobile industry lo' eliminate limousines, roadsters and coupes, confining its output to two- and four-door sedans, without brightwork, wool upholstery, or rub'oer .mats. . Double bar bumpers may also be^eliminated.
