PRISONERS FLOW TO IMPERIAL BASES

LONDON, December 1. A thousand Germans who have been taken prisoner in Libya have been sent to vast camps on the outskirts of Cairo. An agency correspondent with the forces states that in the latest fighting many Germans fell into British hands. From early morning a long column of lorries could be seen on the road outside the Tobruk perimeter, packed with prisoners.
