Jewish Club And Y.M.C.A. A billiards match was played on Monday night between teams representing the Jewish Social Club aud the Y.M.C.A. As this was the final game iu the Wellington competition series for these two teams, a special supper was held, at which Mr. A H Eaton presided. Mr. C. Partridge presented a handsome silver cup to be known as the “Y.M.C.A.—Jewish E riendshln Cup” for annual competition between the two clubs. Mr. Eaton recalled that at the instance of the late Mr. Neil Donoghue. a friendly match had been played between these two clubs some years ago, and this had resulted in the start of the interelnb competition games, now proving “O successful. The cup was received by Mr. Gotlieb, on behalf of the Jewish team. -V presentation was made to Mrs. F. W. Warne, who had been hostess to the teams lliroueiiout the season. Musical items were given bv Airs. Wilfred Andrews and Mr Erie Brobuer, with Air. P. W. M'arue at the piano.
