New Zealand Sheepfarmer (Received September 9, 8.10 p.m.) LONDON, September 8. The death has occurred of Viscount Doneraile. The title passes to his brother, the Honourable Hugh St. Leger. Edward St. Leger, sixth Viscount of Doneraile, was aged 75 and a bachelor. He was educated at New College, Oxford, and became a master of arts. He was called to the Bar in 1891 and was mayor of Westminster in 1919-20. The new viscount is aged 72. He came to New Zealand in 1908 and has been farming in the Gisborne district since then. He married in 1920 Mary Isobel, eldest daughter of Mr. Frank Morice, Whapunake, Gisborne. There are no children. Interviewed by telephone last night, Viscount Doneraile said that he expected to remain in New Zealand.
