Hislop, reported that large quantities of clothing were being received from the six provinces shipping through Wellington, and that the quality of the garments was. excellent. . ■Since the changeover of the work of sorting and packing from headquarters to the Wellington branch, 570 cases had been packed and 460 dispatched to England, and none of these cases have been lost in transit.-
The window display, by courtesy of the D.I.C. Ltd., of clothing received from the provinces, was an outstanding success.
Thanks are expressed to Mr. C. C. Odlln for the gift of a radio and to J. Nathan and Co. Ltd. for supplies of strapping wire. Appreciation wits expressed to all who had assisted in the work of the guild.
