MEN OF FORCES ENTERTAINED
An enjoyable weekend of entertainment was held for the men of the Forces at the Catholic Services Club, Wellington. They all expressed their appreciation of the hospitality shown them. Delicious meals were served and on Saturday night the Turner-Cot-t.er Band played the dance music. Miss Hazel Martin’s pupils also provided entertainment. Miss Kathleen Jansen was in charge of the club and her many helpers included Mesdames Campbell, Logan, Carmody, and Misses Sheehy, McKeown, M. Ryan, O’Neill, Shona Roband, and Beryl Eilers. The weekend concluded with community singing, the music being played by Mrs. Charles McDonald.
