HOPEFUL FUTURE

Mr. Henry Ford’s Belief

DETROIT, July 28.

Mr. Henry Ford, who will be 78 tomorrow, believes that after the war will come an era filled with opportunity for everybody who can refrain from looking backward and face about and go forward. He has no fear of a depression after the defence programme concludes if competition remains active. He also predicts the turning over of Industry to a search for new materials and tremendous expansion of aviation, giving employment to millions in the new world.
