Worker Who Made History

(British Official Wireless.) (Received July 28, 7 p.m.) RUGBY, July 27.

Among munition workers who witnessed today the handing over of the Crusader tank to the armoured forces was Mr. J. Ashton, who helped to make the first tank ever used in battle. The ceremony took place when Major Andrew Bolt, who recently gave £lO,OOO to the Minister of Supply for the purchase of a tank, affixed his name to one of the famous Crusaders which had just come off the assembly line.
