Permission to bold a Sunday uight concert in the Grand Theatre, Petone. was granted to the Petone Working Men’s Club by the Petone Borough Council at its meeting last night. T’lie concert would not be a public affair, said Cr. A. G. Steffen son, and only metnlxn-s of the club, their wives- and their families would be admitted. Previous club concerts had been held in its social rooms, lint these had not been large enough. There would be no charge for admission.
