Criticism Upheld By President WASHINGTON, July 25. Replying to a question at his Press conference regarding the StimsonWheeler controversy, over Senator Wheeler’s action in sending postcards to the men of the United States army, President Roosevelt said he agreed with the captions of the editorials in the “New York Times” and the New York “Herald-Tribune,”. “On Dangerous Ground” and “Mr. Wheeler Goes Too Far.”
