Estate Of Mr. W. McTubbs

The will of Air. AV. McTubbs, formerly of Wanganui, who died in February, includes the following legacies of a charitable nature: —

Five hundred pounds to St. Alary’s Roman Catholic Church, Wanganui, for the extinction of any debt owing on a school building or toward the erection of any school building under the charge of the parisli priest; £lOOO to the Sisters of St. Joseph for the Sacred Heart Convent. St. John’s Hill, AVanganui; £lOO

to the Franciscan Convent, Nsanibya Alission, Kampala, Uganda, British East Africa; £5OO to the Home of Compassion, AVanganni; £5OO to the Mt. Magdala Home, Christchurch; £lOOO to the Provincial of the Society of Mary for the Seminary at Greenineadows, Hawke’s< Bay. The residue of the estate after providing for further legacies of a private nature totalling £lOOO and' certain life interests, is held on trust for the Sisters of St. Joseph for the Sacred Heart Convent. St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Probate of the late Mr. McTubb’s will was granted to the Public Trustee by the Supreme Court, Wellington, on April 4. The estate was sworn at tinder £11,500.
