PUBLIC WORKS STAFF CHANGES
Changes in the staff of the Public Works Department have been announced as follows: — Mr. H. Watkinson, A.M.lnst.C-E., has been promoted from the position of district engineer in Wellington to inspecting engineer, head office. He will be replaced by the transfer of Mr. T. A. Johnston, 8.E., A.M.Inst.C.E., at present district engineer in Nelson. Mr. F. Lindup, A.M.Inst.C.E., district engineer in Stratford, replaces Mr. Johnston in Nelson, and Mr. G. W. Sampson, A.M.Inst.C.E., will assume charge of the Stratford pub* lie works district, retaining for the time being his present headquarters in Wanganui.
