ITALIAN BUDGET
Provision For Big Deficit
(Received January 21, 9.30 p.m.)
ROME, January 20. Cabinet has approved a Budget of £432,400,000, providing for a deficit of £73,700,000. The military budget is increased by £3,200,000. Sugar will be rationed on February 1.
As from February 1 each person m Italy is to receive 174 ounces a mouth. This is equivalent to about one-third of the sugar ration in England.—By radio.
