CAR IMPORTS FROM BRITAIN
Government’s Reported Decision Dominion Special Service. DUNEDIN, January 5. Advice has been received in Dunedin, the “Evening Star” states, that the Government has decided to allow importations of motor-cars from the United Kingdom only to -the value of 25 per cent, of the imports for the first half of 1938. This applies to.cars in built-up condition. Cars completely knocked down may be imported to the value of 35 per cent, on the . same period.
