MORE MARRIAGES
Palmerston North Statistics PALMERSTON N., January 5. The total of marriages in Palmers!Ou North for the past year shows a considerable increase over previous years. The total number of certificates issued was 415. compared with’ 355 in 1935. 314 in 1937 and 347 in 1936. Marriages per formed by the registrar numbered 78. Deaths totalled 332. as against 315 in 1935, and births 618 compared with 612. In December there were 47 births, 22 deaths and 53 marriages.
