SEIZED IN BOSTON

German Oil Tanker

It was announced in a Daveutry broadcast last night that a German oil tanker of 4700 tons, which had taken refuge in Boston since the outbreak of the war, had been seized by the United States authorities. Its cargo consisted of oil valued at £250,000. This decision is believed to have been the result of action by a former officer of the tanker, who claimed arrears of pay.—By radio.
