Changeable With Passing Showers: Cool Temperatures Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, ’Wellington, for the 24 hours ending 3 p.m. today: . Rather changeable at first, with occasional passing showersin most <listncts, > soon improving from the west. Temperatures cool to moderate. A depression is moving away slowly to the east and pressure has risen rapidly over the South Island. The forecast is for strong south-westerlies, gradually moderating tomorrow. Seas in New Zealand waters slight to moderate north of East Cape; elsewhere rather rough to rough, but gradually moderating on the west coast. Fresh but decreasing south-westerly winds and moderate to rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea.
