HARBOUR BOARD GAIETY

Successful Annual Staff Dance All lights were burning brightly and everything was ship-shape fore and aft at the Assembly Hall, Brougham Street, for the annual staff dance of the Wellington Harbour Board. There was a large attendance and the dancing continued till well after midnight. 1 The hostesses were Mrs. W. Elliott, wearing a gown of embossed velvet; Mrs. H. Lindsay, in orange vicolette; Mrs. Hubbard, black satin and embroidered net, and Mrs. J. Hodge, black velvet. The committe comprised Messrs. A. Prince, H. Hubbard. A. Newman, Nr Robertson, G. Pirie, T. Reade, 11. Lindsay, T. McGill, and C. MacDonald. Messrs. N. Robertson and C. MacDonald were the efficient M.O.'s Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. E.
