COLLISION BETWEEN TWO MOTOR-CYCLES

Weekend Accidents Two motor-cyclists were injured when their machines collided on the Onslow Road on Saturday afternoon. Mr. W. When playing soccer for the Diamond first A division team against Waterside at the Basin Reserve on Saturday, Mr. L. Page, 27 Wilton Road, received a fractured left leg. An incised wound to his left hand was received by Mr. J. McCallum, 51 Central Terrace, while using a chisel yesterday. The injured persons wore taken to the Wellington Public Hospital by the Free Ambulance.

Knocked down by a taxi at the corner of Hill Street and Hawkestone Street, ■Wellington, at 9.55 p.m. last night, Air. S. McCarthy, labourer, Astor Terrace, received a fractured right leg and shock. The Free Ambulance took him from Tinakori Road to hospital.
