HOMING PIGEONS

Wellington Society The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society held its weekly show in the clubroom. Two classes for coloured and pied pigeons (a class for cocks and one for hens) were judged by Mr. T. Couper and Son, 2; Dickey Brothers, 3; A. Reader, v.h.c.; F. Flipp and Son., h.c.; R. Tasker, e. The final show of the season will be held on Thursday evening. Two classes will be provided for pigeons who have gained a ticket during the series of shows this season. A class for cocks and a class for hens, the winner of each to receive a championship ticket, and the best bird in the show to be awarded the champion of champion award.
