UNIONS DIVIDED
Boycott Of National Register SYDNEY, July 28. A difference of opinion between the trades and labour councils in NewSouth Wales and Victoria has been revealed following the recommendation of the Australasian Council of Trades Unions that the union boycott of the national register should be abandoned. The New South Wales Trades and Labour Council decided to abandon the boycott, but the Victorian Trades Hall Council rejected the recommendation and will continue the boycott.
The Newcastle Trades Hall Council has also decided to continue the boycott.
